True, that's always been what I've had to deal with in the past.
Of course, in your setup, it sounds like you've already got Linux installed,
and I'm guessing you don't want to reinstall : )

I should also have mentioned that I already have Mandriva 2010.1
installed and mostly configured to my liking. Therefore, the
partitioning of the drive is also done, and an 100GB partition is
waiting for Windows 7.
