There were two engineers from ISIS (Institute for Software Integrated Systems) from Vandy at the Eucalyptus talk by Paul Weiss last year. ISIS finally decided to go with OpenStack, and they built up a _huge_ cloud infrastructure. I don't know how public it is though, I think it hosts some open source projects too, but I really don't have any detailed info. I just know it's huge and they use OpenStack. They looked into Eucalyptus's source code and they told me it didn't look good. So they went with OpneStack. There's OpneNebula there too.

I recently became interested in, and have implemented 2 independent single machine setups. What have others here done, or is there interest in seeing what can be done with a private cloud? -- Steven Critchfield [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
