It seems like every time templates come up on this list recently, Jade is suggested with no arguments for other engines. I've also seen mentions of it being the "defacto standard" in the node ecosystem.
What are the reasons so many people use it and recommend it over other solutions? Is it simply because it is the default engine in express? Is everyone burnt out arguing over template engines?
