I am a heavy user of Fons Adriaensen's 3D audio stuff and I have often mused on using Blender's 3D "realtime" world (thanks to the new EEVEE render engine - it's REALLY fast) as a GUI interface for positioning mics and performers. There is Jack audio support, but I am not clear if it supports the Jack transport protocol - I'll check tomorrow after work (=NOW()+17hrs). I have a clip of a mockup I did using FA's zita-mu1 (a pretend real object on a desk) metering an audio track. Synchronisation was not a problem. But that's enough time down that rabbit hole. I really am off to bed now. Good Night all, and Happy New Year. -- Richard <[email protected]>
