Ok, this is a display bug. I know this issue and it's an unlovely behaviour.
This happens to files that have a special size. Until now I don't know what
this redrawing causes, but be sure, I changed a lot stuff to make it more
"beautiful".

Thanks for your report. I try to find a solution within the next versions.

Jens

Yes, but this is the latest one and it solves many bugs, in any event the focus
bug.

Best Regards
Jens

Hi,

Would like to know if NotePad++ is able to indent a piece of code with a certain
character.

If I compare with Codewright, there it's possible to select a block of text
and then say which character(s) should be used to indent the block of text.

Very handy if you want to comment out a piece of text.

Best rgds,

--Geert

Are we going to see a version of notepad++ for linux in the near future? It's
a great tool and it's sad that not everybody can use it.

Any input on this one? I'm used to it since I used CodeWright and I must say
this is a very, very useful feature (but it was switchable for those who didn't
wanted this, though...).

In fact, I'm so used to it that I now forget to save the file before I switch
from Notepad++ to another application, resulting most of the time in my changes
not being taken into account when compiling...

have installed notepad++ from both installer and zip ..
in both cases, the right-click context menu gives the same error message when
used to open a text file:
"Error creating process: nppcm.dll needs to be in the same directory than
notepad++.exe"

Well, nppcm.dll is in the same directory!

any clues how to fix?
thanks
Ron McKeirnan
