that's a pitty,
i'm trying to leave windows
but the only 2 programs i miss on linux are notepad++ and photofiltre (wich
is now being programming for linux)
i hope anyone who knows about programming do it.

Ultraedit do the Job, if you call it from a command line specifying the macro
to execute :-(
Hope it can be implemented in NP++ too in next releases

Hi there,
i am quite sure I once found it in Notepad++, but I am no longer able to. I
have Sourcecode with tabs at the very left, and tabs somewhere within the line.
The Tabs within the line now should be replaced by spaces (so 2 tabs can either
be 8 or only 5 spaces - replace wont work).
If I cant leave the tab at the very left, I can live with all tabs being
replaced.
P.S.: does anybody know a good code-beautifier (c++)? Preferred if hightly
configurable.

So I downloaded NPP then I found the ruby.api and ruby blue style all happy
to have an editor with an auto complete idea. However even when I go directly
to the exe fil it does not open. I should have at least 30 instants running
by now. For some reason beyond the first installer start of teh program I have
been unable to get it to start. Any ideas? Happen to anyone else?

The XML cannot parse the file properly (e.g. the comments). So the User define
system is unable to match <Directory "D:/PHP/Samples"/> in general, isn't it?

So try Geany, another Scintilla-based editor. It uses GTK+ instead of the
Windows
API, so it can happily run on Windows or *nix (including Mac OS X).

It doesn't have all the nice plug-ins of Notepad++, but you can get by with
regex seach/replace or writing some simple scripts to send text through.
In my world, Notepad++ is for Windows, Geany is for Linux.
