I see your point, but sorry, I oppose it. From the community perspective, this is a brand-new feature to allow configuring engine share in fine-grained, if we follow the design you proposed, we need to explain every time, to users who are new to Kyuubi, that due to historical reasons, the behavior is not intuitive ... balabala.
