GitHub user Soniflare added a comment to the discussion: How to find/install NetBeans 8.1???
__As per the original post__, JavaME is required for working on custom-coding Blu-ray menus and Blu-ray programs (the type that sit on the burned disc itself). There is NO WAY to do any programming work on Blu-ray Discs without JavaME. Trust me, I checked. Searched for days for some kind of alternative way, there isn't one. Furthermore, I asked a question, and instead of answering, you ask me why I'm "wasting my time" when you apparently don't even know WHY I'm doing this. When someone asks you where a good pizza place is, do you say "Why are you wasting your time with pizza? Just get a burger!"? I hate that this is such a major part of internet culture right now... Oh and while support for Java 8 has been dropped, it is still very possible and easy to develop for and run Java 8 stuff. I'm just having trouble getting proper plugins for JavaME support to install/run on NetBeans because they were made for version 8.1, not 30.
