It would be nice to get advance notice of things, it seems like (as always) it's on a whim he does things. I signed my girlfriend up for the NPGMC on the last day it was up, of course didn't know the next day he would decide to disband the site altogether.

I did spend the 2 bucks to download "Guitar" from 3121. You had to have a login, password and email address. Why would you need that info to download one song. So to speculate, he may be building another database. He knows only the diehards are gonna download 1 song for $2. Plus the fact that when 3121 did the start up, old NPGMC members did get advance notice and a password for pre-sales to the first few shows. Just like the wind blows, it's all in the air with what Prince may or may not do. We'll just have to wait and see which way the wind is gonna blow this time. Robin aka CherryMoon <Moderator: They need that information so that if they want to trick you into buying anymore crappy songs you just have to log in. It's common practice. If it was free then I would question why they need that. -Derek> -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Amil Dave Sent: Monday, February 12, 2007 7:49 PM To: npny@lists.panix.com Subject: Re: NPNY: Prince Tour 2007 I wouldnt be surprised if he started another "club" just for pre- sales. Many major artists seem to be doing that now. Or if NPG has retained our info and contacts us via email for pre-sales. Didn't their last email say they would be in touch again sometime in the future? Oh, who I am kidding, right? lol.
