Of course I had to include the ActiveSync error messages... They were so meaningless to me and nothing turned up in google or google.groups, I ignored them. The only thing I can find using google is true problems with read/write permissions and people not able to read/write all files or e-mails. These three lines is what activesync repeats over-and-over: (the Oid number increases by 1 every three lines) 01/06/2007 19:31:05.765 WARNING: Processing NACK: FromDevice: 1, [SSPId: 0x10007, Oid: 0x200001B3, Hr: 0x80140100, Flags: 0x00000002] 01/06/2007 19:31:05.765 Failed to sync a [File, 0, 0x200001B3] object because of error 0x80140100 01/06/2007 19:31:05.765 One File item [Vol: 0, Oid: 0x200001B3] flagged, SyncType: LOCAL_CHG So 289 erroneous files = 3x289 lines in the activesync logs. I'll send you the samba log file seperately. Rein ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
