take the latin modern fonts. This example works with winxp and miktex:
*************************************************************
\language[fr] % \useencoding[ec] \enableregime[il1]
% latin modern fonts \usetypescript [all] [latin-modern] [texnansi] \setupbodyfont[reset] \setupbodyfont[cmr]
\starttext
évolution évolution évolution évolution évolution évolution évolution évolution évolution
evolution evolution evolution evolution evolution evolution evolution evolution evolution
\stoptext
