Hi Hans

I haven't used \xmlcommand before. Instead I've always used the method used
in the manual \xmlfilter{#1}{asdf/command{xml:asdf}}.
But I guess \xmlcommand{#1}{asdf}{xml:asdf} is functionally equivalent
(syntactic sugar?). Or are there any differences between the two?

different:

- doint it in the initial setups sets setups on the element (goes over the whoe tree to check and set)

- when done via filter and command etc the binding is delayed (less overhead) and it's easier to do different things with the same element (out of order)

When you want to pick from the file the 'go there and act upon child elements' makes more sense than just going top-down.

There are various examples in the test suite.

Best,
Denis

\startxmlsetups xml:comm

\stopxmlsetups

you have a double # here

I attached a solution.
