Thanks for your reply. That's great. Actually we have a prototype of a
semi-Thai user interface (translated menus and headings). We add a
language variable to the global pref structure. However, to make it
scale to support multiple languages, we also think along the same line
of using macro or config file. Anyway, thanks a lot for your hint and
encouragement.

I think that we need to put on a configuration file all the strings
printed on screen and use a language or another according to the setup.
In general I'm not an expert for this kind of developments, so this is
just an hint.
