The /interactive switch means you can run a scheduled task without being
logged on to the system.

It doesn't work. Meaning, if I run it, I get the status code 0x1 and
the files that I am renaming and copying onto a mapped networked drive
are not moved. If, however, I am logged in then the files are copied
off fine.

What's the /interactive switch?

Thanks.

Stephen

What do you mean by "doesn't work in Terminal services"? What is it
this batch file is trying to do? The scheduled job will run the job on
the server in the context of the user specified. If you use the
/interactive switch it will be just like the specified user was sitting
at the console running the command. It won't open a terminal server
session and do something in that session.

that doesn't work...

Remember, the batch file works fine as long as I am logged into the
computer at the workstation or remotely from Timbuktu... it just doesn't
work in Terminal services if a user is not logged in.

.. rename the job to .CMD and try it.
