can you simulate a load over the weekend.

Pausing printers, print then delete in a script
multiple runas sessions copying files.

have you run perf mon logging everything 60 seconds aught to give you some
data to look at.

might show what resources are being used.

We took a closer look at our logs and noticed that just before the server
hangs it quits putting entries in the log form print jobs even though
printers are still working. Then printing and file access just stops
responding. No error events get recorded because nothing is being written
to the logs. Thought this might be related to a bad RAID Array controller,
so we replaced it and the same thing happened. We have added the registry
entry suggested by Denise and will watch it over the weekend. Don't expect
to know much until the Monday AM load hits.
