HIJACK!!!!!!!! I reported something similar a couple of weeks ago. I left town before it was resolved, and I left the list as well as I'd not be able to check the hundreds of messages here daily... As suggested, deleting normal.dot does not work. Making sure there are no problems printing to "the default" printer helped nothing. Doing a complete purge of all things MS Office (including a seek-and-destroy run through the registry did nothing. It affects only the principle user of this workstation (XP Pro SP2; Dell PWS 390; Office 2003) on that machine. Others have no issues. To aggravate things, she does not have any problems on a neighboring (but much inferior) PC... -------------------------------------- Richard McClary, Systems Administrator ASPCA Knowledge Management 1717 S Philo Rd, Ste 36, Urbana, IL 61802 217-337-9761 http://www.aspca.org "Edwards, David" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote on 05/23/2008 04:46:07 PM: > I have an issue where when executing MSWord 2003 I get the error > MSWord has encountered a problem and needs to close.
