Like a lot of companies these days their support is in India and you can't understand what they are saying!!! That is one of the reasons I've dropped Symantec.

Doesn't have to be fancy-shmancy, just basic firewall for outbound control, and VPN for remote desktop. Would a Sonicwall be a good fit? If so, which model do y'all recommend?
