Forgot... I think I should point out - the instruction and demos are really meant more to benefit the presenter than the audience. I intend to assign these based on what I think the presenter needs to know, rather than what the audience needs to hear.
It's my firm belief that if you can't teach a subject, you don't know it. So, if the presenter does a good job, they've understood the material. This doesn't preclude me from assigning the same or similar presentation in the next 6 months or a year to someone else, if I think someone else needs to learn it.
