They never got an order correct or to us in one piece during the 7 years we used them. It was always a fight and multiple changes to PO's. All that said they were rock solid lasted forever and weighed a ton. They also took a lot of abuse but refused to die. If we could change the contractor we would go back to them but State purchasing says use this contractor. I have been having issues with it hanging on the docking station but it may just be the docking station. Its internal components are all accessible from the bottom and the magnesium chassis feels much stronger than the plastic ones. -- Mike Gill From: Jim Majorowicz [mailto:jmajorow...@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2009 2:37 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Dell Latitude E Series 1st Impression This is my first time really getting my hands on a Dell Latitude E4500 since Dell went away from the D series. (The ones we have sold in the last couple months have been installed by my lakey.) Is it me, or are these being made in the same factory as the Lenovo's? It looks to me like they could use the same docking station, batteries and other accessories.
