I hope so I still have not gotten full permission to test beyond my machine at
this point. I hate waiting until it hits the market to begin testing an OS.

Production level testing only. I need to see how it holds up under the stress
I put it under. I have 3 other targeted people I will stress test it with as
well. One is a heavy graphics user who is on Ultimate and the other is a
multiple language user also on Vista Enterprise. I have to wait until it is
released by the University before full deployment is possible. This is the
first time they have let me do any Production level testing of a new OS that
was not on the market. Lower level testing they don't care about but
production machines don't get Beta or RC testing.

Is this for _ANY_ testing, or just for "production" machines (including

Sounds stupid if the former.

Maybe for you but I have higher authorities to respond to that did not want me
on a Beta or RC. They have given me the go ahead for the RTM which is very
unnatural for them. They usually make me wait until it hit the stores before I
can begin Production level testing.

I am pulling all I need for testing at the moment. I liked the RC in a VM but
did not trust it enough to replace my work machine with it. I will be
rebuilding my work machine this weekend after a full backup. Then I have
several others that have asked to try 7 when I was ready to do live testing. I
only have one that uses more than one language on his. I am hoping the second
machine I do will allow me to only use the x64 so I can begin the process of
dumping x32 from the office environment.

Is it wrong to say that we are currently burning DVD's and lining up machines

The question is should I upgrade my main work machine today and can we get the
entire office done as well?

I started to pull my files at 4:30 am and at the moment I am getting about
25kb/s so I am pulling all of them (5), that I need, at one time by the
download manager.

Sure, they're behind logins. But once people download them, they show up on
on the 'net soon enough anyway. And cracks soon after. Or so it's always
reported in the tech blogs.

Put the torrent tracker files behind logins if you want.
