Actually it was a superior word processor application until Microsoft Windows 3.x ushered in the era of Windows-based applications and the first Windows versions of WordPerfect were absolutely dreadful.
WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS was a thing of beauty. WordPerfect 5.2 for Windows was a steaming pile. In my opinion. Ben M.
