  Just run copper.  Run CAT6A if you want to future-proof for 10 gigabit.

 Fiber's biggest selling point is distance.  You can go further.
Copper Ethernet is limited to 100 meters; you can go kilometers on
single-mode fiber.  Fiber Ethernet technology also tends to be faster
sooner, so you saw (e.g.) gigabit fiber on the market before gigabit
copper, but copper has caught up every time so far.  Copper is
cheaper, easier to work with, and harder to damage.

  For your application (indoors, two floors, 100 meg would be okay
today), all fiber is going to do is cost you more.
