Ditto, only time we've ever had anything like this with HP is when there was
a production delay in a component for the specific server we ordered, and we
were notified by telephone by our HP rep, and given the option to select
something that was available or wait and given an ETA on how long that would
be.

Not acceptable at all IMHO.
