How cheap is it going to be on the company if he gets into e-mail and she finds out you allowed the keylogger to be installed. Now the company is liable for her invasion of privacy. It is one thing if he did it without your knowledge but now the company has been informed and allowed the activity to happen. I would remove it instantly and tell him that it is a personal issue and he will have to do that on his own.

For one, that is a company supplied laptop. She has no business using, period! Two, instead of a keylogger why didn't you just look at the IE Cache folder? Anything she was accessing would be there, graphics, too. You could have copied this off to a CD for future reference. As long as she doesn't do any 'house cleaning' on the laptop, all the info is still there on the laptop hard drive.
