Have you made the short trek back to catch a game at CBP? It's an awesome venue!

It's a very nice location. I can't see the field from my office (apparently
there is a conference room on the 8th floor that overlooks the field), but the
stadium is only about 50 yards away from the warehouse and I can see the
outside façade of the stadium out my window. I can one of the main entrances,
so I can watch people coming and going.

Being from Philly, I'm not an O's fan (still bitter about 1983), but it really
is a beautiful place to catch a game.

When the weather is nice, we have windows open so we can hear the crowd during
day games and smell the hog dogs, popcorn, etc. It's a really nice atmosphere
in which to work. I take the light-rail into the office during day games, so I
don't have to deal with parking.

There are usually tickets available, and if nothing is 'on fire' we can
sometimes take an afternoon off for the game. Heck, if I get paged, I'm a 5
minute walk from the office. :)

Jim, catch and Orioles games on Camden Yards? Sounds like a dream
location...afternoon at the ballpark.

D'oh! Now I've got a decision to make. I was all set for my triumphant
return to TechEd next year (after a 3 year absence), now I have to decide
between the two events. I can't go this year, too much going on with the new
gig, but I've already got the boss's approval for next year.

What is this TEC everyone is speaking about? June always is not a good time
for me for Tech Ed, an April or May conference would be preferrable.

Yes, he has for a number of years. It was really ironic that my manager and I
were chatting about him Wed night as his firm was doing some work with our
infosec team because she knew he and I used to keep in contact, then this
article hit the newsfeeds the next day. Maybe more eerily coincidental J

He and I chatted a little yesterday and I hope to meet up with him when I'm
down there at the end of the month for TEC.

/waves at MBS- See you the 25th
