Wow, if the ’57 Chevy is still original & numbers matching, it would be worth way more to restore as original instead of what’s known as resto-mod, or restoring with modern technology. If it’s already been significantly altered from stock, then it’ll be cheaper to resto-mod, and provide a better ride ( more power, better brakes, more reliable engine, etc ) .
