Check out the Avaya offerings, for example, the 5600 series. They are excellent switches, the warranty is great, the price is very competitive, and contrary to what the gloom-mongers were trumpeting in the recent past, Avaya will not be abandoning the acquired Nortel data products.
My experience is that you get way more bang for the buck with the Avaya (formerly Nortel) gear. Anyone have any experience with this switch or this family of switches? Obviously Cisco is a pretty good name, but it's been a while since I've bought anything of theirs.
