Thanks Ben and sorry, I should have been more detailed in my post - right now we manage these on a CentOS/Postfix box, which works great but we have little to no combination of linux/postfix/general smtp/pop3 knowledge in our company beyond me, so if I'm not about, whilst it shouldn't need any messing with, we're kind of stuck if it does whereas most people could probably fumble their way around hmail/mailenable once logged into the server it's running on.
