LOL
I had one of those! Funny thing, I was watching Blackhawk Down the other night and the watch out kid used one to alert the insurgents. My Son nearly fell off of his chair when he saw it. It was so heavy and awkward to use and EXPENSIVE. Don Guyer Systems Engineer - Information Services Prudential, Fox & Roach/Trident Group 431 W. Its a dual-drive portable unit with hardware RAID, aaand a handle! It supports USB 2.0 and eSATA. I have two 1.5 TB drives running RAID-1 in mine. It fits in a briefcase. Its awesome. I just got my two 1.4 TB drives from Fry's for ~$70 each. They are slower RPM, but for external storage, you dont notice. -- ME2 On Tue, Nov 9, 2010 at 9:46 AM, Jon Harris <jk.har...@gmail.com> wrote: Sorry for the cross post but it has been a long time since I was in the market to get a personal USB drive. Anyone want to offer up a recommendation, please? Size would be either 1 or 1.5 TB preferred without needing an extra power cable to run it but I would find it acceptable for it to use two USB cables. Small enough to fit in a briefcase or pocket would be best. I have several older systems here at home that need to be wiped and rebuilt and would like to back them up without needing to push all the files through a wireless network.
