Hey guys, We just shot a bunch of stuff on the RED and we're trying to retain as much color data as possible so that the input matches the output, but we're not sure how to properly convert the red files to dpx. Right now we're using this workflow:
Bring in .r3d file Use MonkeyExtract to convert them to dpx using - Decode ColorSpace: CameraRGB or redColor - Gamma Curve: redSpace Bring in the new .dpx into nuke Would my new footage inside nuke be set to redSpace, sRGB, or CameraRGB? We're not seeming to get an accurate representation of the footage inside nuke after the conversions. Thanks for the help! Oh colorspaces.... :) -- Nick
