Thanks for the link and the information. I'm still a bit confused about it
all though! The link you posted seemed to prove that cameraRGB had the most
information in all the channels, but had a desaturated look. I'm assuming
that can be corrected using your idea of a viewer LUT while we comp?

If we were to continue converting the .r3d files using cameraRGB - I assume
we'll have nuke read them in at cameraRGB, too? I know the viewer will be
showing us sRGB....

You also mentioned a new linear light format that can write to EXR. Is this
a format in the r3d properties in nuke? Or a new option using redcine
exports? We're switching off Nuke6.1 to Nuke6.2 and I'm not exactly sure of
the camera builds that were used to shoot the footage.
