You aren't missing much. You can hope they are outside the error threshold and tweak that down. I usually set min length to 3 (stock setting) Max track error to 3 and max error to as low as possible and still have enough trackers. I start at 5. If five doesn't work I start thinking about fixing the plate CC or sharpens or whatever and adding more user tracks.
