only the driver and upsd are required to get the data, so it's fine.
you should also do a quick discharge (a couple of minutes) to see battery.charge decreasing well.

I'll redo it since I didn't even run upsd.

Fred will appreciate a lot, as usual. I'm forcing him to work on the Windows port for ~ 2 years (is a pure Linux fan!) So thanks again Fred for all your excellent work on the Windows port, and making NUT more widely available. I'm eager to see it finally entering the mainstream (we have still a lot of work before).

I've pretty much decided to standardize/switch to NUT, many of the systems are running Windows (client/desktop systems).

I really like how you can tell the UPS to do stuff (instant commands) without having to shut the program down.
