There seems to be a fair amount of turnover at this site. We checked it
this morning and then again toward evening but the Whimbrels reported by
Bill Broderick in the early afternoon were not there for us. Changes from
yesterday include fewer Pectoral Sandpipers and Short-billed Dowitchers, no
Greater Yellowlegs, a few more Lesser Yellowlegs and Semi. Plovers, two
Stilt Sandpipers (versus one yesterday), a Spotted and a Solitary Sandpiper
today. The Semi and the Least Sandpiper numbers were not very different
from yesterday. With the Whimbrels, that's 13 species of shorebirds at this
site this weekend.

Good birding!
