The Bashakill produced many birds today. The Great Cormorant was not seen to my knowledge, but while searching some of the back bays for the bird I found an adult TUNDRA SWAN in a flock of Canada Geese, a number of our regular birders were able to get to see it and it still remained when we all departed this evening. Many Green-winged Teal, a Hooded Merganser several American Pipit and Palm Warblers were seen as well as Bald Eagles, Northern Harriers, a Red-shouldered Hawk and a Cooper's Hawk. Pine Siskins and Fox Sparrows were at Scott Baldingers feeders. Also of note was the first American Tree Sparrow of the fall season. John Haas
