I looked into it a little more, and one problem is that even though I’m willing 
to buy a permit, there is no plan nor projected date for when they will start 
selling the 2022 permit, even though the permit season starts February 1. The 
only people who can park legally in the meantime are existing 2021 permit 
holders. It seems unjust that one can only park with a valid permit, which is 
not available for purchase at this time.
