Late this afternoon, at Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on the East Pond NE, 2 *Red-necked Phalaropes* and an *American Golden Plover* were the highlights. The birds were observed by many including Kevin Karlson, Lloyd Spitalnik, David Speiser, Scott Whittle and Steve Walter.
