The Queens County Bird Club Inc. will be meeting TONIGHT  05-19-2010 at 8pm at the Alley Pond Environmental Center   http://www.alleypond.com/directions.htm { the third Wednesday of the month} Our Speaker will be David Burg of  WILDMETRO WildMetro, a non-profit organization founded in 2002 by naturalist David Burg, that aims to protect wildlife in natural areas within and around New York City. It helps to define appropriate goals for metropolitan nature protection and to use a variety of straightforward methods, such as cleaning local parks, to achieve those goals. Non members and guests are invited to join us for our meetings featuring noted guest speakers and to join us on our renowned field trips.  QCBC is a tax exempt, charitable organization {501c3}.
