I can give that a +1; my only concern is that we have enough core contributors (4 would be enough) active on the list to give a timely response to any constitutional matters (such as project endorsement). To that end I would like to see the proposed core contributors acknowledge this proposal, and let us know if they are happy to take on the core contributor responsibility; likewise if any of the proposed contributors would like to step up to core then now would be a good time to say so. Once we've got that, we can turn it into a formal proposal following section 7.4 of the constitution, and leave it 14 days for comment. (I'm assuming that proper ratification of an existing community should follow essentially the same path as starting a new community from scratch.) -- -Peter Tribble http://www.petertribble.co.uk/ - http://ptribble.blogspot.com/
