For the record, there was a break-in at the above property sometime early in the evening of 15 June (Monday). Front security gate and front door were forced open using a crowbar. No one at home at the time - nobody harmed. Electronic tech and some personal items taken. Incident reported to the SAPS, who have visited the scene twice since - once the following morning (after the break-in was noticed by a neighbour) to secure the house, and again in the return of the resident later on the 16th.
Can anyone advise if this is part of a pattern of similar incidents, or something of a one-off? What are the stats for break-ins in Obs in recent months? Thanks.
