Hi Jenny, At an OBSID AGM awhile back, JP Smit told us we could (with OBSID's help), get properties like that listed as problem properties with council.
The onus is then on the properties owner to close/secure or relet to suitable tenants to remove the security problem. Maybe we could discuss this with Hannes, and ask him to investigate what we need to do to get action on this?
