Sir , I wish to inform you that the Public Transport Unit attended to
your complaint on 24 August 2015. The unit issued 48 fines whilst
deployed to Wesley , Scott and Arnold Street. Sir on 25^th August
2015 the unit again to deployed to the same location and issued
another 62 fines for offences committed by errand taxi drivers. The
complaint was attended to both for the morning and afternoon peak.
We will continue to do ad hoc inspections at these locations sir.

Approx 4.30pm I was at the intersection of Arnold and Scott,
waiting on the river side to walk up Scott. As I started crossing
Arnold an EXCITE taxi - maroon - cut the stop street in Scott (did
not even use it as a rollover) and turned left into Arnold nearly
hitting my 2 dogs and myself. He was so fast that I could not get
the registration but a coloured male driver - maybe 50 years old.
(My language was choice)
About 15 minutes later, a minibus taxi tore down Bishop towards
Lower Main.
