In Alistairs defense there is a huge customer base of non NT users who have
neither the funds, intention or real need to move to NT.  Adding some of the features
of the older more capable sibling of Win9x is merely providing added value to your
products for those customers.  I don't think Alistair was stating or implying that
he wanted to implement the entirety of the NT suite of extensions merely those
that were immediately needed by his customers.
