Hi Folks

Thanks to all who replied, your responses were a great help. I will get
back to a few of you
at a personal level. It may well be that I'll have to abandon hope of simply
hooking my old drive
into the new box anyway. Apparently as it has a 133MHz FS Bus the chances of
the old drive working
are pretty slim.

Seems the best way will be to copy the old drive's three partitions to
tape and meantime load them
on to the new PC's drive (via the printer port) into three separate
directories, eg :- C:\DRVC, C:\DRD,
C:\DRVE with their associated directories as sub-directories. Then get Win
'98 up and going, find out
what will run under Win '98 and see if I can still support Borland
Pascal-V5..7 Borland C++, Win 3.11
and Delphi V1.0 programs I have, and my uP compilers etc. If I have problems
then I'll spend a couple
of $100 on V-Com System Partitioner and Commander and then I can apparently
have twelve different OSs
on the PC.

I'll let you know how I get on.

  Regards

    Colin
