No doubt it has - but that is not the issue - to rely on security holes being
patch is silly.  It would be like saying one does not need to practice safe
sex because one has been vaccinated against all the things one cane get.

I can not recall one incident where my anti virus software picked up a 
virus that I did not know was there.  The only times it picks up something
is when I use it to identify what virus has been sent to me.
