Please
don't compare Bill Gates with God. There are already
to many people who are making those sort of links. ;-)
How
about Osama bin Ladin or the Devil. Don't they dress in simple practical
clothing ;-)
I
think he knows exactly what he is doing. Dressing to allay fears and distract
from more important issues.
He
wore his plastic pocket protector for a very long time. Maybe this is an
improvement.

The whole point is that it is as far from style as possible. He is saying "I transcend your pitiful concept of style. I do not need to dress to impress. But you plebs in the suits - you still do. You need to impress ME."Like God. God wears a plain woolen robe. He does not care what you think about him. But you still wear your sunday best to church.-----Original Message-----No, it's more like asking a cat about differential equations. A simple lack of comprehension.

The problem with what he is wearing is that it is a pale grey (the least classy and least stylish colour out) and in a crew neck sweatshirt which has over sized wrist bands. (You might be mistaken for a linux fanatic). When you are that important and don't need to impress anyone, then wear what you like.
