Actually I believe the Devil was into really
complex gear. Whips chains and the like :)
Personally I agree with Allan's interpretation.

Please don't compare Bill Gates with God. There are
already to many people who are making those sort of links.
;-)
How
about Osama bin Ladin or the Devil. Don't they dress in simple practical
clothing ;-)
I
think he knows exactly what he is doing. Dressing to allay fears and distract
from more important issues.
He
wore his plastic pocket protector for a very long time. Maybe this is an
improvement.

Exactly.
The whole point is that it is as far from style as possible. He is saying "I
transcend your pitiful concept of style. I do not need to dress to impress.
But you plebs in the suits - you still do. You need to impress
ME."
Like God.
God wears a plain woolen robe. He does not care what you think about him.
But you still wear your sunday best to church.
No,
it's more like asking a cat about differential equations. A simple lack of
comprehension.
But have you noticed that to be fashionable you have
to follow the herd, but to be cool you have to shun
it?

Back to class and style - you can have both and not wear a penguin suit.
The problem with what he is wearing is that it is a pale grey (the least
classy and least stylish colour out) and in a crew neck sweatshirt which
has over sized wrist bands.

amoung the penguins? What says "I am so important that I don't have to
try
to impress you all, for my mere existence is enough" better than a plain
grey sweatshirt?
Exactly. You WANT to wear penguin suit???!! (You might be mistaken for
a linux fanatic). When you are that important and don't need to impress
anyone, then wear what you like. Comfortable would be my first priority.
