Educating the community about governance issues, including appointing and interacting with all the CG Facilitators, is the most important responsibility of the OGB. That`s, quite literally, the job. The OGB`s role is not to run the community on a day-to-day basis. The community can run itself. Instead, the OGB`s role is to look out for the long term well being of the community by setting policies that help the community function and grow. Also, Facilitators don`t need policing from the OGB. They simply need to be engaged and trusted. They are Core Contributors, after all. They are supposed to have /already earned/ that trust. > We can review this area in the proposed constitution. I prefer to distribute responsibility to empower the community and to cut bureaucracy and hierarchy to help the community grow. Jim
