Completely agree that we should progress forward into developing a set of
requirements and research what's currently available, and being able to leverage
the work the Tonic dudes have done would be awesome.

However, all that said, I'd really like someone to write a good current status
of where we're at. There's preciously little information that isn't back channel
right now, but perhaps that's purposely so?
