Fair enough - I hadn't thought of that angle.  Perhaps it's because I'm 
letting my personal opinion blind me a little bit in that regard.  I 
guess I think of branding of the OpenSolaris Community as belonging to 
the community at large.  Much as I entrust my elected representatives 
(for the most part), there is still a balance as to how much I would let 
them get away with.  I know this isn't exactly the same, since nominally 
anybody can participate and join in the discussion (and decision) in the 
Advocacy Community.

Anyway, discussion about this is good.  It's making me think.  :-)
